The secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: one of the most important priorities that are followed up by the headquarter is national cooperation and combination of resources and facilities of the country to produce wealth from biotechnology science.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, pointed out the supportive programs of the headquarter, asserting: combining resources and facilities of the country to provide health from biotechnology leads to the promotion of level of science and technology of Iran in this strategic field.

He continued: achieving a high level of science and technology will lead Iran to be the first place in the region and having a worthwhile global contribution.

He marked: policies, strategic planning and assessment of biotechnology"s progress in the country are also being pursued vigorously, and this is a priority in all headquarters working groups.

According to Ghanei, one of the main priorities of the headquarter is supporting the commercialization of biotechnology products, which is realized through the formation of knowledge-based and private companies.
