An Iranian Women Is Selected among Top 40 Young Professors in the World

Maryam Kouchakinejad, a graduate of Sharif University of Technology, was selected among the top 40 young professors under the age of 40 in the world in the field of management. This selection was made based on the site ranking (Poets & Quants), which is one of the most reputable online management sites in the world.

This site provides news related to Business Schools in the world, especially MBA. In addition to news, this website has published various rankings, including the rankings of prestigious universities in the field of management. In recent years, he has also introduced top young professors in the field of management.

Maryam Kouchakinejad is a professor at North Western University with the global rank of 25, who was selected as one of the top 40 young professors in the field of management in the world with more than 1400 citations in Google Scholar.

In March of each year, a committee of specialized individuals select a list of 40 people. The selection criteria are teaching methods and the quality of research articles of the professors. According to the website, for the 2020 competition, there were more than 2,000 candidates for 160 management professors from around the world, 40 of whom were shortlisted.

Maryam Kouchakinejad received a BSc and MSc in physics at Sharif University of Technology and loves the field of organizational behavior and psychology. During this pass, she was inspired by Dr. Feyzbakhsh in Sharif University.

She received a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the University of Utah and a postdoctoral from Edmond J. Safra at Harvard University and joined the North Western University in 2014, where she conducted effective research on human behavior. Today, she is an associate professor in the school of management of this university.

Her findings are published in many academic research journals and have been featured in major media outlets, including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Huffington Post.
