A joint commercial meeting was held between Iran and India
The knowledge-based companies accompanied the minister of foreign affairs of Iran, the head of the political and economic delegation of Iran, in a travel to India.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the higher managers of nine knowledge-based companies were present in travel to India and attended the commercial meeting of Iran and India on January 10th 2019. Mohammad Javad Zarif, the minister of foreign affairs of Iran, pointed out the presence of knowledge-based companies of Iran during his speech on the inauguration of the commercial meeting.
Ali Morteza Birang, deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, expressed: the center for international affairs and technological exchange of the Vice-Presidency has sent nine individuals as representatives of knowledge-based companies with the goal of laying the foundation for improvement of economic conditions of the country with the help of export of technological products.
He added: the representatives of knowledge-based companies attended the commercial meetings held in India. The main objective was laying the foundation for export to India and signing commercial contracts between companies and their Indian counterparts.
Birang presented a speech on the meeting of diplomacy of technology held by research think tank and information systems for developing countries in the presence of 32 individuals of international deputies and diplomats of 27 countries of the world regarding the experiences of Islamic republic of Iran in the field of science and technology diplomacy.
This center is financially supported by the Indian government and acts independently in selecting research topics and publication of results. Along with its activities, the center holds enhancement courses in the fields of international business, cooperation of south-south countries, and sustainable development.

(active in the field of machineries and equipment), Dorsa Resane Houshmand (active in the field of information and communication technologies), Tam and Atre Magnolia (active in the field of food industries), Takvin Pajouh Maham (active in the field of machineries and equipment), Samin Rayane (active in the field of information and communication technologies), Tehran Internet (active in the field of information and communication technologies), Bazar Internet Iranian (active in the field of information and communication technologies), Teb & Sanat Rahyab (active in the field of medical and laboratory equipment), and corridor of export development and technology exchange (in the field of export services).
