Iranian space agency has prepared the draft of the “document on development of economy in the area of space of the country”

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a draft document is prepared on the development of the economy in the area of space in line with the policies formed based on the development of economy of this field. In this regard, a committee is formed to complete the draft of the mentioned document.

Over the past few years, space activities have undergone extensive changes in the world. Obtaining a 100% global growth rate in this field during 2008-2016 and improved growth capacity more than 500 billion dollars show that the space economy is one of the most promising areas of the newly emerged economy in the world. Therefore, all of the countries aim to use their current and predicted capacities and abilities in their space programs to turn their potentials into reality in the space field.

Institutionalization of this approach in the country not only leads to the development and completion of the chain of value of space economy, but also provides a condition for proper use of all domestic and foreign resources and capacities in line with the development of economy in the country and achieving the goals of plans made in this field.
