The marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter evaluated the formation of a committee consisting of maritime representatives in a meeting in the presence of representatives of marine organizations of the country to assess the technological projects delivered to the secretariat of the national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, attaining financial and spiritual contributions by maritime organizations, awarding the top talents, receiving marine technological achievements and projects, introducing the representatives of organs to assess the projects, and sending works and projects to the secretariat are among the most important issues discussed in this meeting.  In addition, a report on the performance of secretariat of the maritime technological projects and achievements for the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”, and evaluation methods was presented.

Marine projects were received by the committee and will be decided about in case of meeting the necessary requirements.

According to the regulations of the secretariat, the projects must be in line with the development of marine technologies, be used in the future vision and economy, have economic justification and also the complete documentations.

Among the most important evaluation criteria of marine achievements and products are “being technological”, “eliminating the needs of the country” and “having a specific market”.

The projects and achievements will be judged in three areas of marine knowledge-based companies, marine organizations and marine academic and research centers.

The technological marine achievements and projects can be sent to the secretariat of the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” during October 23^rd-25^th, 2018 and along with holding the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”. In addition, three projects and top products will be awarded after evaluation.
