A Cooperation Agreement Is Signed between the National Brain-mapping Laboratory and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

 

A cooperation agreement is signed between the national brain-mapping laboratory and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in line with the development of education, research, and technology activities for promotion of the brain-mapping area.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, according to this agreement, the two parties are obligated to provide the condition for establishing student thesis in the relevant fields, the necessary condition for using laboratory equipment by students within the approved framework, specialized and scientific counseling in laboratory in fields of relevant research projects, prioritization of researchers and students of universities to perform projects in the national brain-mapping laboratory.

In addition, it was agreed to realize the goals and accelerate the decision-making process by forming a joint working group between the laboratory and university. This agreement will last for three years, during which university students and researchers can use the laboratory equipment to perform their research projects based on the provisions of the agreement.

This agreement was signed by Mohammad Reza Ay, head of the national brain-mapping laboratory, Hossein Ghadiri, deputy of the laboratory, and Bahrami, research deputy, Malekzadeh, manager of technology development, Pourreza, research deputy of medical engineering faculty, Moghimi, research deputy of medical faculty, and Mashhadi, research deputy of school of psychology of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

The national brain-mapping laboratory has been established to respond a part of research and technology needs of the country in the area of producing the imaging and brain simulation infrastructure that is necessary for cognitive research, provision of knowledge-based and updated services in the area of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter using specialized equipment.
