A joint meeting was held between several nano companies of Iran in the field of polymer and a commercial delegation from China hosted by nanotechnology development headquarter and with the cooperation of nano center of Iran and China.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a commercial delegation traveled to Iran from China so that in addition to familiarization with the capacities of Iranian companies in the field of polymer, scientific steps could be taken for performing joint cooperation.

In this regard, a meeting was held between the Chinese commercial delegation and four Iranian companies active in the field of polymer at the location of nanotechnology development headquarter. In this meeting, Pouya Polymer Co., Shamim Polymer Co., Bespar Pishrafte Sharif Co. and Arvin Sepehr Part Co. showcased their achievements in the field of polymer materials. 

In the beginning of this meeting, Amir Ghorbanali, the manager of nano center of Iran and China, explained about the history of establishment of the center and described the opportunities present in china for Iranian companies.

He considered this meeting a suitable opportunity for more familiarization of the commercial section of China with achievements and abilities of Iran in the nano field, expressing his hope that the Iranian polymer companies could introduce their potentials in this field to the Chinese delegation.

At the end of the meeting, the manager of the Applied Nanotechnology Industrialization Center, introduced the mechanisms of the center and the cooperation between the technology and industry section. Providing 150 proposals from technologists and industrialists to the center for joint collaboration and the production of seven products were among the achievements of the icons, which was interesting for the Chinese delegation.

At the end, the Chinese delegation appreciated the efforts of Iranian companies for introducing their products and services, summed up the meeting as a starting point for creating a new chapter in the joint cooperation between Iran and China, while emphasizing the advantages and opportunities available to cooperate with nano companies.

Finally, they visited the permanent exhibition of nano products in the nanotechnology development headquarter, and a memorandum of understanding was signed with one of these companies. Moreover, that same evening, the Association of Manufacturers of Masterbatch and Compound held a meeting with the delegation.
