140 New Units Have Joint the “Laboratory Network”
The strategic technologies laboratory network of the Vice-Presidency will finish the Persian year 98 with 140 new members. In this regard, Reza Asadifard mentioned: this year, we had 168 requests, 140 of which were accepted.
The laboratory centers across the country can become the member of the lab network of the Vice-Presidency without any limitations. Their only criterion for joining the network is providing services to the public.
Accordingly, the network has been able to persuade many labs to join, which led to the joining of 168 new centers in 2019-2020.
Pointing out this issue, Asadifard continued: however, the extension of this membership depends on the performance of the lab in the network, which is measured on an annual basis.
He continued: in order to keep the laboratory network member centers informed of the activities and latest decisions and programs of the network as well as close interaction with other centers (especially the managers of newly joined centers), various network meetings and programs are held in the network.
These meetings are held in rotation and hosted by members to provide an opportunity for visiting the laboratories and lay the foundation for cooperation of the centers.
According to Asadifard, the laboratory network website is available to researchers and industries as a reference for information on the country"s laboratory capabilities and services. The database provides information on laboratories and their equipment and services in various ways.
