"Made in Iran" Laser Leak Detector System Unveiled; Opening of IoT Innovation Center at the University of Tehran

"Made in Iran" laser leak detection system was unveiled in the presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology in the field of technology and innovation at the University of Tehran.

In this ceremony, Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, also visited the technological achievements of researchers in the field of technology and innovation at the University of Tehran.

Leak detection of pipelines is one of the concerns of various industries, which was solved with the production of an Iranian product, the construction of an upgraded laser leak detection system. During his first technological visit in 1400, Sattari went to the Faculty of Physics at the University of Tehran to unveil the knowledge-based products of technology activists based in the faculties of this university

This "Made in Iran" product is an upgraded laser remote leak detection system used to detect natural gas (methane) and detects possible leaks in gas pipelines using an industrial remote sensor.

This project has been designed and produced with the support of the Photonics, Laser, Advanced Materials Development and Construction Department in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology at the Faculty of Physics, University of Tehran, to meet the needs of the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.

The Vice President of Science and Technology also visited the Technology and Innovation Department at the University of Tehran and visited the achievements of technology and creative activists based in the University Technology Park.

In the innovation area at the University of Tehran, the ground will be laid for turning industrial issues into ideas and products, and support for established teams until the commercialization stage is reached.

Following a visit to the University of Tehran Technology Park, the IoT Innovation Center of the University of Tehran was inaugurated by Sattari.

This innovation center creates a bridge between traditional industries and new technologies to achieve the goals of digital transformation and provides the necessary grounds for the development of businesses based on digital technologies.

Ideators in this area benefit from leadership, training, and business development support in the field of digital technologies and the Internet of Things.
