According to the communication and information center in the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, who was speaking at the first gathering of popular activists of technological progress in the garden of the Holy Defense Museum, stated that the gaps resulting from "technological innovations" should be filled with involvement of people, elites and institutions with the help of social innovation, and added: "One of the serious axes that is pursued in the vice presidency of science, along with the development of technological innovations, is social innovations." Paying special attention to social innovation will definitely help to reduce the gaps and problems caused by the development of technological innovations in countries.

The head of the National Elites Foundation stated that in the development of technological innovations, less attention has been paid to the consequences and damages resulting from this development, and continued: One of the indicators of wisdom is to see all its dimensions when we do something, and experience has shown that when we focus on only one issue, we don't see its dimensions and consequences, and we don't understand what dimensions and consequences that issue brings with it. The development of science and technology, which has become one of the main components of determining power in recent years, is one of these issues, and "technological innovation" as a part of all types of innovation, along with all the its advantages, has serious harms, including the creation of serious and deep social gaps and has brought classes. The class that does not have access to technology is left behind, and those who transform science into technology benefit from its special advantages, which is a divisive issue.
