Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, at the opening ceremony of the first phase of the Comprehensive Center for Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine of Tarbiat Modares University, spoke about the country's significant progress in this technological field and added: Its dynamic and innovative nature requires the continuous and serious movement of technologists, academics and researchers.

The Vice President of Science and Technology, while considering innovation as the most valuable gift of God to mankind, continued: "This innovation is flourishing in the context of the private sector." The example of building an airplane proves this fact; The US government was unable to build the aircraft with huge investments, but two self-funded bicycle makers built the first prototype aircraft, which led to the privatization of the US aerospace base.

The collective innovation of the experts and technology activists of Badr Danesh Knowledge-based Company led to the production of Knowledge-based product, which is used in the production of many strategic and vital drugs. The production of Iranian plasma separators is an innovative step made by people who are all students and graduates of Tarbiat Modares University and have completed their product in the form of a private sector knowledge-based company.

Therefore, the Vice President of Science and Technology stressed: "Research invested by the public sector does not lead to the product and we must open the door to the private sector in this area." Government research cannot be expected to produce products that compete in the market and sell.

Sattari attributed the production of such products and the achievements of academics to the creation of an ecology of innovation and technology.

Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mansour Gholami in another part of the opening ceremony of the Comprehensive Center for Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine of Tarbiat Modares University said: "We have a value superior hand in the field of science and technology as well as medical sciences, but we must try intellectual, executive and Create an action between the existing capacities in the field of medicine and science.

In another part of the ceremony, Amir Ali Hamidieh, Secretary of the Stem Cell Development and Reconstructive Medicine Headquarters, spoke about the relationship between this technological field and fields such as engineering and basic sciences and continued: This technology is rapidly connecting with other fields, including engineering. soon, Iqbal will be more in this field.

The Secretary of the Stem Cell Science and Technology Development Headquarters considered the prosperity of knowledge-based companies and Iran-made products as an opportunity for job creation, preservation of national investments and value creation.  

 The first comprehensive center for stem cells and reconstructive medicine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, will be a platform for the development of Iranian knowledge-based products in this field, turning research into applied products and services.

The opening of the University's Comprehensive Stem Cell and Reconstructive Medicine Center, as an infrastructure center, will be an important step in supporting cell products, gene therapy products and tissue engineering with a degree of clinical application that will play a key role in promoting community and people health in the coming years. And will treat incurable patients.
