The Ibn-Sina technology tower of Amirkabir University of Technology was inaugurated in the presence of the first vice president and vice president for science and technology affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, the Ibn-Sina technology tower of Amirkabir University of Technology was inaugurated on February 11^th in the presence of Eshagh Jahangiri, the first vice president, and Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.

During this ceremony, research and technology centers located at this tower, incubators, central laboratory and knowledge-based research centers and companies were visited by the guests.

In addition, some of the research units of the university presented their projects, such as welcoming robot (features: detecting face, speaking in a variety of languages and guiding people). Another achievements in this regard were ChitoTech hemostatic products and localizing technical knowledge and designing CCR units in Iran.

Amirkabir University of Industry has 5 decades of experience in science and technology development and one of its major goals has been the establishment of research units. These units are developed with the aim of developing technology and turning scientific projects into products in the required fields, as well as implementing demand-driven research to resolve social problems in the frame work of policies and programs of the country.

Currently, 24 research units are active in Amirkabir University of Industry under the supervision of research and technology center at vice presidency for science and technology affairs.
