The second edition of the electronic journal for the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” is published with the goal of informing about various sections of the event.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, with regard to the coasts extended on the north and south of the country and due to the presence of oil, gas and fishery industries, development of related technologies with advanced equipment required in this field is of paramount importance. Therefore, the national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” has aimed to promote marine topics in various strata of the society and express the current concerns of the country among elites. 

It is hoped that our country come on the track of progress and economic flourishing and be recognized as the first power of the region. Relying on the capacities of sea and relevant industries, we can achieve a sustainable and all-around development. Therefore, it could be stated that without a doubt, the path of progress in the country is the sea. In this festival, it is aimed to apply a comprehensive approach in various marine regions and develop marine ideas at the national level.

The fourth round of the national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” will be held November 2018 in Tehran by the efforts of the marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter and with the cooperation of activists and industrial companies and top universities of the country in the sections of marine technological projects and achievements, student competitions, high school student competitions, scientific speech, educational workshops and exhibition of technological marine achievements of the country.

Therefore, the conditions of the festival can be explained by publishing the journal for the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”.
