According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Soorena Sattari- the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs declared at the ceremony of signing the joint cooperation memorandum between the vice presidency for science affairs and the cultural heritage organization: Research institute should guide the research rather than executing it themselves. The government shouldn’t enter the execution. That’s the point that we are seeking in all fields.

Stating that the Iran’s land and civilization has been existed since the beginning of the history, Sattari said: One of the biggest capital we have is the cultural capital and the civilizational several-thousand history.

Head of the identity-maker and soft technologies development headquarter of the country, by emphasizing on this fact that we should pay more attention to our historical capitals, said: Using modern technologies in this path can help us.

According to Sattari: Laser fields have been developed today that can be used for mapping historical places and sites.

Head of the microelectronic, communication and information technology development headquarter of the country by stating that ICT is growing in Museum Management  said: We are ready to use the vice presidency’s headquarters in the fields of ICT, Nano and Bio advanced in identification in other aims which archaeology can be one of them.

Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti- head of the tourism and cultural heritage research institute also said in the margin of signing memorandum with the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs: The cultural heritage research institute is formed of 5 research institutes of archaeology, inscription and texts linguistics, cultural-historical texture and buildings, anthropology, protecting and repairing cultural-historical works and two researching groups of traditional arts and tourism.

Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Sajjadi Nayyeri- president of the identity-maker and soft technologies development headquarter and representative of the vice presidency in the aforementioned memorandum said in the signing ceremony of this memorandum: It was set to start cooperation in two certain field. The first field is establishing an innovation center. This attempt is considered as an approach for supporting knowledge-based companies which considering the knowledge-based economy and knowledge-based companies is one of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs’ duties.

This memorandum signed by Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti- head of the tourism and cultural heritage research institute and Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Sajjadi Nayyeri- president of the identity-maker and soft technologies development headquarter of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs before the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs will be run in 8 provisions.

It is written in this memorandum:

In running the general policies of the country for developing the resistive and knowledge-based economy and regarding the abundant importance of commercialization and utilization of sciences and technologies related to the field of cultural heritage, national arts, handicrafts and tourism in the field of developing cultural and creative industries, this memorandum was signed.

Partnership in establishing the innovation center of cultural heritage with the mission of providing services to infant companies, researchers, professors, skilled experts, students and graduates of majors related to the field of cultural heritage and tourism via providing infrastructural facilities including physical space for settlement, financial covering, consultative services, management, marketing, educating courses and similar to it for establishment, development and growth of knowledge-based companies and institutes are of the aims of this memorandum.

Supporting formation of the technology transfer office in the field of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism in the institute with the aim of creating connection and defining joint projects among advanced centers of international technology in this field with universities and domestic knowledge-based companies are other aims of the memorandum between the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs and the institute.

Based on this memorandum, supplying the physical space and infrastructural facilities and environment of suitable activity of creative and innovative companies in innovation centers and other professional requirements including monitoring, teaching and consultation services for teachers, student and graduates and infant institutes and companies  regarding the aim and functions of the innovation center are the tourism and cultural heritage institute’s duty.

Professional support and making the bedrock and application of the technical knowledge available in the institute by infant companies via suitable models (spin-off, technology transfer, sell,…) by preserving the financial and sentimental rights of the institute are also of the commitments of the tourism and cultural heritage institute.

The vice presidency’s commitments are supporting the formation of the innovation center, supporting international cooperation of the technology transfer office, professional partnership with the institute about designing the structure, process and suitable planning of the innovation center and the technology transfer center and financial support of accepted companies in innovation center regarding the professional requirements of their success in different stages of the life cycle.

For executing this memorandum, president of the identity-maker and soft technologies development headquarter of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs and the official, financial and management development deputy of the tourism and cultural heritage institute will pursue the operational attempts and due to the considered agenda, the representatives of two parties will be introduced for attending the strategic committee.

The presidency vice president for science and technology affairs visited the complex of laboratories and workshops of the institute of protecting and repairing, the national museum of ancient Iran, the Islamic period museum and historical documents of Persian Gulf at the end.
