Basic educations in the area of 3D printing is one of the goals followed up by the advanced manufacturing and materials development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the advanced manufacturing and materials development headquarter has designed a 10-year program and map for development of 3D-printing technology. One of the issues mentioned in this agreement is basic education of students, for which some steps have been taken by the headquarter, which has initiated the first educational course for students. In these workshops, students will learn about concepts related to incremental build both practically and in theory courses. Therefore, education of students can guarantee their power and effectiveness in this field.

In this regard, the 3D-printing workshop was held for students of Ibn Sina research center, where students worked with 3D printers and learned about the benefits of this transformative technology.
