Iran Has Ranked 16th in the World in Terms of Artificial Intelligence
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Taghi Joghataei, senior advisor of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, stated: currently, the efforts at the international level are in the path of science and wealth creation. In order to obtain this goal inside the country, effective cooperation and collaboration in various science and research fields is crucial.
Joghataei pointed out the global scientific ranking of Iran, affirming: science production has ranked significantly high, compared to other countries in the world. Iran’s rank is even higher than regional countries, especially Turkey, and South Korea in some scientific fields.
He also asserted: given the ranking of Iran and its prominence in many scientific areas, compared to other countries, it is necessary to maintain the regional competitions and take more serious steps in science production in the world to improve the ranking of Iran in this regard.
The senior advisor of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter reminded: Iran has ranked 16th in the world in terms of artificial intelligence, and has been allocated a high position among the regional counties regarding linguistic sections.
Joghataei also marked: today, one fifth of medical articles are in the neuroscience region, and hundreds of articles related to neuroscience have been published in the country. This indicates the investment in and attention to scientific, medical and research fields.
Moreover, he conveyed: increased collaborations among research centers is associated with positive results and achievements in the neuroscience fields, which will help the country achieve its goals.
