The vice president for science and technology of Iran entered China
Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, traveled to China as the head of a high-ranking knowledge-based delegation to improve the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
Officially invited by the minister of science of China, Sattari traveled to this country and is accompanied by 70 knowledge-based companies. It is a scientific and technological journey that will enhance the interaction between the two countries. Sattari will meet with Song Tao, Chinese Minister of Science and Chinese Communist Party Minister, during the trip.
This summer, Song Tao traveled to Iran and met with Sattari, during which he marked: “I realized that Iran is not just an oil and gas importer and it has considerably advanced in the science and technology fields. Regardless of international issues and challenges, China"s will to develop relations with Iran has not changed, and in the current situation, we welcome further development of relations with Iran.”
In another part of the trip, Sattari will travel to Shenzhen, which is the pole of information technology of China. Sattari will attend and present a lecture commercial and technology meetings between Iranian and China technological companies. In addition, he will attend the opening ceremony of Advanced Technology Exhibition of China on November 13th, 2019, presenting a lecture to give an overview of the scientific and technological progress of our country and the creation of a technology and innovation ecosystem.
This is the 21st round of the exhibition, which is attended by 500 Chinese companies along with companies from 30 countries to showcase their achievements in various fields such as smart home, robotics and lasers, energy, aerospace, intelligent health and information and communication technology.
Meeting with Iranian students studying in China is another part of the trip.
