The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed the lack of possibility of bringing people out of the system to do the work, stating: it cannot be possible and development of the province is realized by investing on its ecosystem.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the meeting of production improvement and development of knowledge-based economy in Golestan Province in the presence of the governor and high-ranking authorities of the province.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter pointed out the high capacity of human resources in Golestan Province, affirming: no one will come from outside of the system to deal with our problems. This also applies to the country. We cannot think that foreigners are responsible for mistakes made in Iran. Development of the country is endogenous and is formed by the domestic human resources of the country.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned that development of the province must be endogenous and based on the ecosystem of the region. In this regard, he added: we need to equip the infrastructures and establish an ecosystem where the private sector invests on human resources to achieve knowledge-based economy.

Sattari condemned selling raw materials, marking: the future generation will scold us for this, which is not just related to oil. We must realize that selling raw materials will not generate value added.

The president for the national elites foundation pointed out that government money is not important in knowledge-based economy and the private investors play an important part in this regard. He continued: Golestan province has suitable ecosystem capacities in the fields of agriculture, medicinal plants and mines.

In order to use these capacities, we must establish innovation centers and use creative human resources and the investment of the private sector.

Signing an Agreement to Flourish the Region’s Ecosystem

During the meeting, four agreements were signed with the goal of flourishing the technology ecosystem of Golestan Province.

The agreements were signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, governorate of Golestan and their representatives to establish a health innovation center and innovation factories in Gorgan and Gonbad and develop the ecosystem of innovation and technology in the region.

“Forming and developing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem”, “laying the proper foundation for emergence of creativity and flourishing of new ideas”, “introducing capacities and opportunities to create new businesses” and “commercializing their results” are among the most important goals of the agreements.

The Good Performance of Dr. Sattari Will Be Completed by Finishing His Job

Ayatollah Nour Mofidi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Golestan Province, pointed out the hope in Dr. Sattari, emphasizing: his good performance will be completed by finishing the job and conquering its peaks.
