The first production line of polymer asphalt was inaugurated and exploited in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs by producing a modified polymer knowledge-based company, which has been registered by a knowledge-based company as a patent and has reached the mass production stage.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a factory was opened 800 km from the capital, where an Iranian knowledge-based product will be produced for the first time. The bitumen polymer correction line was exploited by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and in the presence of Mohammad Ali Shojaei, the governor of North Khorasan, and Abdollah Reza Azizi, the representative of people of Shirvan in the parliament, so that the quality and safety of roads’ asphalts could increase by an Iranian and knowledge-based product.

This production line was inaugurated during the travel of science and technology caravan to North Khorasan province.

During the ceremony, Sattari pointed out the efforts made by the governor and authorities of North Khorasan province to realize the knowledge-based economy. In this regard, he added: the range of the unique and innovative products of the knowledge-based companies and startups is becoming increasingly widespread, which will enhance the everyday life of people. Today, we are witnessing the production of a successful example of these knowledge-based products that reduce road construction costs and significantly improve quality while making employment.

In terms of the implementation of a project to maintain the original Turkoman horse, Sattari affirmed: we still do not have a comprehensive plan for this, but we welcome any plan that the customer has and can be commercialized.
