Zeynab Hamidzadeh, the assistant of the vice president for science and technology affairs in the development of innovation ecosystem in energy field, stated: one of the topics of the first event of technology development in electricity industry is solving the issue of demand response.
The assistant of the vice president for science and technology affairs in the development of innovation ecosystem in energy field added: planning to hold the first event of technology development in electricity industry was made based on the agreement made between the Vice-Presidency and the complex of ministry of energy, especially Tavanir and Satkab companies.
Demand Response Issue
She mentioned: the electricity network of the country faces problems in warm days of the year due to increased consumption rate. therefore, the ministry of energy and Tavanir Co. have demanded to solve this issue by using the capacity of knowledge-based companies and their solutions to reduce consumption in households.

Hamidzadeh also marked: according to the similarities and work experiences, an agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency and the ministry of energy, and both parties committed to the use of the potential of knowledge-based companies and the private sector in the electricity industry to make a technological evolution in the field.
Hamidzadeh added: the first event of electricity industry is the result of these efforts. The event will invite knowledge-based companies, researchers, startups, accelerators or any other enthusiast of the field to present their abilities and learn about the latest domestic achievements in the event. In addition, electricity contractors, managers of the Ministry of Energy"s decision-making subdivisions and investors in the field are also invited to present their needs and use elite audiences to address them.
Technological Response
Explaining different parts of the event, Hamidzadeh affirmed: developing technologies in the electricity industry with the goal of responding to the technological needs of the electricity industry in the country with the use of the abilities and capacity of knowledge-based companies is the main goal of the event. In addition, establishing commercial cooperation among the companies and large organizations of the industry is another purpose of the event.
According to Hamidzadeh, the main goal of the event is concluding contracts and establishing cooperation between knowledge-based companies and government organizations of the ministry of energy to meet the country’s needs with the help of the domestic technologies.
A Two-day Event
The assistant of the vice president for science and technology affairs in the development of innovation ecosystem in energy field also expressed: this two-day event will be held February 24th-25th, 2020 at the location of Iran national innovation fund to showcase a part of the needs of electricity industry of the country in the fields of production, transmission and distribution of energy.
Main Parts of the Event
Exhibition of power industry needs, capabilities of knowledge-based companies, and meetings introducing technological needs of power industry, and B2B meetings are among the main parts of the event.
In addition, business negotiation meetings aimed at technology partnerships and experience transfer meetings between knowledge-based companies are also expected to be held at the event.
Financial support packages are also intended to facilitate technological collaboration between knowledge-based companies and large power companies.
