Second meeting of the Quantum Technologies Steering Council held with the attendance of the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy
According to the reporter by the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the council members presented reports on the activities of the relevant organizations in the field of quantum and became familiar with each other's capabilities and infrastructure.
Rouhollah Dehghani, in a speech at this meeting, referred to the establishment of the "National Center for Quantum Technology Creation in the country" and said: The National Center for Quantum Technology Creation will be established this year in Pardis Technology Park, which will initially have the capacity to attract more than 100 top technologists with appropriate working and employment conditions.
According to the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the establishment of the National Quantum Technology Creation Center is one of the issues approved in the Seventh Development Plan.
Dehghani added: In the Seventh Development Plan, it is stated that the government is obliged to establish six national technology creation centers in six fields by the end of this program.
The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy also noted: The projects that are to be carried out in this center have been on the agenda and agreed upon by the council members.
He expressed hope that this center will become one of the leading and renowned research centers in the country and the region in the field of quantum in the near future.
