Pointing out the lack of efficient improvement of businesses in the society by merely spending the government budget, the vice president for science and technology affairs stated: the flourishing of entrepreneurship and expansion of ecosystem of innovation and knowledge-based economy will lead to the economic growth of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the conference on “future of work and entrepreneurship of the youth in Iran” was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Shariatmadari, the minister of cooperatives, labor, and social welfare, Abdolreza Mesri, the deputy speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Gholamhossein Shafei, the head of the chamber of commerce of Iran.

During the event, Sattari pointed out the technological and economic activities of Iranian knowledge-based companies, expressing: the reality is that a considerable budget has been allocated to the research section. In fact, we spend largely but inefficiently in the field of research, which is mainly related to lack of coordination and cooperation between the education system and the economic section.

Growth of Economy with Entrepreneurship and Innovation

He added: the ecosystem of innovation and knowledge-based economy will lead to the development of technologies in the country. The government budget will not flourish businesses in the society and cannot lead to economic growth. In fact, entrepreneurship and expansion of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem will result in the economic growth of the country. Due to its process, entrepreneurship invests its cost and benefits in businesses, which results in economic flourishing.

Building the Economy with Spending on Ideas of Individuals

Emphasizing that the human resources and intellectual assets build the future economy, Sattari marked: in these conditions, the most important investment is supporting and budgeting the ideas of individuals, especially the youth.

In addition, the vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned the legal problems of new businesses during the event.
