The Westa Open Innovation Center is opened
“Westa” open innovation center is opened in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs at Imam Khomeini higher education center with the goal of improving the technological, entrepreneurial, knowledge-based and new businesses and developing the agriculture ecosystem.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Imam Khomeini higher education center hosted Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Azizollah Shahbazi, the governor of Alborz, to open the Westa open innovation center along with the Fajr Decade.
The Ecosystem Is Boosted
The vice president for science and technology affairs considered the booming of accelerators and innovation centers an important step toward the improvement of the innovation ecosystem.
Sattari pointed out the support of accelerators and innovation centers with the goal of flourishing knowledge-based and startup businesses, expressing: we support this type of view and thoughts in the Vice-Presidency and are prepared to deal with the challenges and barriers to the development of the innovation ecosystem.
Sattari talked about the necessity of spiritual support to help the innovation ecosystem, asserting: the fact that ministries, universities and industries of the country have been opened to innovative ideas and creative youth is a valuable issue and lays the foundation for economic transformation in the country.
