The flourishing of new companies and startups in the field of medical equipment is accelerated by opening a specialized accelerator.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, inaugurated Spin Accelerator this morning and during the visit of knowledge-based companies in Tehran.

Inauguration of the accelerator by the private sector and with the support of the Vice-Presidency will accelerate the production of medical and biotechnological equipment.

Established with the goal of developing knowledge-based companies and startups in the field of biotechnology and Taher Taj Pars Co., producer of medical and health equipment, “Spin Accelerator” hosted Sattari on this event.

This accelerator is active in the field of health and biotechnology equipment, and provides the necessary infrastructures to facilitate production process and other facilities required by new companies.

Visiting the Achievements of Pharmaceutical Activists in “Iran Pharma”

Iran Pharma Expo hosted the vice president for science and technology affairs presents the latest achievements and improvements in the drug industry and introduces the ability and potential of this industry in the country. Among the activists of the field in the exhibition, Sattari talked about the necessities for development of innovation ecosystem and knowledge-based economy.

Production of Comprehensive, Integrated Location-based Information Management Software 

On the first part of the visits, Sattari visited “Fara Omran Negar” knowledge-based company, where technology activists design and produce location-based information software.

Production of Special Industrial Molds with Domestic Technology

The vice president for science and technology affairs also visited Mehr Kar Co., a producer of plastic injection molds and equipment manufacturer in the molding industry. Production of large-scale Iranian industrial molds is one of the most important abilities of this knowledge-based company. In addition, the technologists of the company are capable in design and construction of different types of plastic and metal molds and various industrial parts and maintenance of molds.

Ability in Production of Industrial Software

The knowledge-based company of Telka Soft produces software and hardware related to information technology. This firm was the next destination of Sattari.

Capability in Production of Iranian Hydro-mechanical Equipment

Sattari also visited Fan Novin Nirou Co., which is one of the largest executive contractors in the field of design and construction of different types of hydromechanical equipment. This company has successfully implemented 70 dams in Iran and outside the country.

More than 270 graduates and experts are active in the 66,000 m² space of the knowledge-based company.

Hydromechanical equipment have many applications for regulating dam water, continuous potable water supply, continuous agricultural water supply, flood control to prevent potential damage, as well as directing and controlling water flow behind turbines for power generation.
