Marivan Computer Games Center is opened
Marivan Computer Games Center is opened virtually by the vice president for science and technology affairs to follow-up turning ideas into technological products at a faster pace.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Marivan Computer Games Center was opened during the travel of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Kurdistan Province to create a space for the nurturing of innovative ideas. The center has provided space for eight teams, and 25 more teams will be added to the center. This building has become active in cooperation with the science and technology park of Kurdistan Province.
In addition, areas such as digital content production are covered in the center. During the opening ceremony of the center, which was held virtually, Sattari stated: as much space as there is to create growth and technology teams, the necessary support is provided to rebuild and help create and provide them. It is necessary to provide serious support to technology teams and scientific nuclei throughout the province. Accordingly, the Vice-Presidency is prepared to provide all facilities in case of allocating space by government authorities.
Pointing out the valuable position of Marivan in the innovation ecosystem, Sattari added: currently, there are some good accelerators in the field of computer games and animation in Marivan, and this city can also start its activities in the field of agriculture and creative industries, because it has a suitable cultural infrastructure.
Opening a Growth Center for Technological Units of University of Kurdistan
Sattari also attended the ceremony to open the growth center of technological units of University of Kurdistan.
He also visited Zhoori Maang, which is active in the field of digital entertainment and VR, in Fajr Complex of Sanandaj. The accelerator has 12 teams in branches of Sanandaj, Marivan, Kamyaran, and Bijar, providing jobs for 24 people.
During his one-day trip to Kurdistan, Sattari visited the innovation park, technological teams and the smart service counter office. After that, he opened Jin Accelerator, creative industries and animation and computer games of Marivan. In addition, the production line of chemical and polymer additives was unveiled in the presence of Sattari. This production line has been established by the efforts of some of the faculty members of University of Kurdistan.
During the trip, the research and technology fund of the province was opened and the new building of the growth center of University of Kurdistan was exploited.
Visiting the level of advancements of Zhoori Maang, technological products of Islamic Azad University, Sanandaj Branch, and technological products of University of Medical Sciences of Kurdistan, and Attila Orthopedics Co. were other programs of this trip.
