Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the international exhibition of Tehran and visited the technological and knowledge-based products of technological companies in the third exhibition of lasers and photonics.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Tehran Exhibition space hosts a part of the innovation and technology ecosystem of the country.  Creative youth and knowledge-based companies have come to speed the country"s path of self-sufficiency through their ability to travel more quickly. A warm party is set up. Laser technologists and activists are thriving. The lasers and photonics exhibition will be held November 10^th, 2019 and will continue to November 12^th, 2019. The exhibition will host 50 technological companies and 20 startups in the field of lasers and photonics. Among these companies, 28 startups and technological corporations will attend the exhibition with the support of the lasers and photonics technologies development headquarter.

Trust of Industries in Technologists Is Admirable

During the ceremony of signing the agreement between the national lasers center of Iran and Mobarakeh Steel Company for purchasing laser-welding system, the vice president for science and technology affairs stated: this trust of the industry in knowledge-based companies and technologists is admirable. Soon, advanced equipment will be produced in the field of lasers by signing this agreement.

Sattari continued: this trust is the result of sanctions and constraints. However, development of knowledge is the most important aspect of these projects since it leads to the establishment of tens of technological companies and experts.

During the visit, an agreement was signed between the national lasers center of Iran and Mobarakeh Steel Company for purchasing laser-welding system in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs.

The contract was made with a title of "All 2 kW Fiber Optic Laser Equipment with Automation Control System and Welding Head for Acid Washing Machine of Mobarakeh Steel Company" to be manufactured with the expertise of the products in the field.

By signing this contract, the sheets produced at Mobarak Steel Complex will be bonded to internal laser welding. What happened showed that despite the restrictions and sanctions we could address the domestic need.

Visiting and Meeting with Knowledge-based and Startup Activists

By attending the meeting, Sattari visited the achievements of knowledge-based and startup activists in the field of lasers and photonics.

The third lasers and photonics exhibition of Iran is held to present the scientific capacities of academic and research centers, industries, knowledge-based companies and startups.
