The vice president for science and technology affairs unveiled the national macro project of patient vital signs monitor.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the vital sign monitoring device with the ability to switch to the Hospital Pacs System was successfully produced with the management and leadership of the national macro technology projects and by Sazgan Gostar Co.

The device is able to continuously and accurately monitor each patient"s vital parameters such as heart vital signs, oxygen content, heat, pressure and breathing as well as linking to the Pacs medical archive. This Iranian knowledge-based product has the capability of displaying all the vital signs as well as the collection of medical images of each patient such as MRI, CT scan and radiology.

The most important achievements and benefits of this product are improvement and facilitation of the patient"s treatment process by providing complete and accurate information to physicians, saving physician time and reducing the time of diagnosis. At present, this product has obtained all the licenses to operate the national medical device directorate of Iran and the European CE Quality Certification.

Using the domestic abilities of experts, the company is active in the field of designing and producing knowledge-based equipment of patients’ vital sign monitoring. With the increasing scope of health monitoring equipment, the company is now meeting the needs of the medical industry as the only designer and holder of medical archive connection technology in Iran.
