Iran and Bolivia will cooperate in the field of advanced technologies
On the trip of Dr. Javad Zarif, the minister of foreign affairs of Iran, to Bolivia, the document of a developmental cooperation agreement was signed by Dr. Zarif and Diego Perry, Bolivia"s foreign minister.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Iranian party is committed to transfer the technical knowledge of nanotechnology by creating an MSc and PhD field in nanotechnology and establishing a nanotechnology laboratory in EMI Bolivia university in the framework of south-south developmental cooperation.
In this ceremony, the foreign minister of Iran stated: Iran is prepared to share its achievements with other nations that have not been dependent on one-side supportive countries and do not play a role in increasing the governance of these countries.
Zarif added: the secret to the growth and development of countries that demand independence at the global level is making an effort to deepen dependency in other countries, rejecting the conditional support of these companies and trusting its domestic capacity and sharing its capacities with similar countries. Iran has employed this policy since four decades ago and after the Islamic revolution. Fortunately, this approach has led to successful achievements in various defense, nuclear, and science and technology fields. Despite the pressures on Iran in the past 40 years, we still move toward progress and development with pride.
This cooperation program will be implemented to empower and train elites of Bolivia in the field of nanotechnology and shared production of nanotechnology knowledge-based products and their commercialization in the Latin American region.
