Good News for the Technology Ecosystem of Qazvin; The First Specialized Innovation Center of the Province Will Be Opened
Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered Qazvin province to open technological projects and innovation centers in the region. The plant gene bank’s construction was initiated in the presence of Sattari, and a specialized innovation center will be opened in the science and technology park of the province. Qazvin Innovation Network will also be opened.
Upon entering Qazvin, Sattari was welcomed by the governor of the province. This one-day trip was made to develop the innovation and technology ecosystem in the region. In addition, technological projects were started and innovation centers were established to pave the way for the movement of the activists in the ecosystem.
The first part of the trip included visiting the plant tissue culture plan in Abyek and the achievements of knowledge-based companies in the Caspian Town. He also visited the production line of Naghshe Almas Caspian Co.
The science and technology park of the province hosted the vice president for science and technology affairs, where he visited the exhibition of products and achievements of the companies based in the park.
A specialized innovation center was opened in the science and technology park of the province, which is the first innovation center of the province. In addition, Sattari unveiled the innovation network of Qazvin, which establishes a systematic connection between technology and innovation ecosystem activists.
Sattari also visited the Islamic Azad University, Qazvin Branch, to learn about the achievements and products of the center. Three corona-related projects including disinfecting robots of hospitals, equipment disinfecting devices, and thermal devices to diagnose high fever, were visited as well.
Opening the second phase of the innovation center (Shahid Soleimani Building) was another part of the visit. In addition, the creative technologies center is dedicated to knowledge-based companies aged 12 to 18 to provide them with the necessary training in modern science.
Meeting with the representative of the supreme leader and the Friday Imam of the province, attending the meeting of the economy of resistance and visiting knowledge-based companies of Alborz Industrial Town were other parts of the visit.
