Ruhollah Dehghani, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, appointed Emad Ahmadvand as the head of the special headquarters for the development of nanotechnology.

In Dehghani's ruling addressed to Ahmadvand, it is stated: Based on Note 1, Clause 2, Article 6 of the National Document on the Development of Science and Nano Technologies, approved by the 873rd session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and with regard to your qualifications and experiences, according to this ruling, you are appointed as the head of the special headquarters for the development of nanotechnology.

"Continuing and improving the scientific position of the country in science and nanotechnology", "Special attention to the development of novel technologies with high economic and social impact", "Enhancing the participation of elites in solving the country's problems by relying on nanotechnology", "Maintaining and promoting capital human and nanotechnology service network", "promotion and culture building to increase the participation of stakeholders in the development and application of nanotechnology", "development of international scientific and technological cooperation" as well as "supporting the penetration of nanotechnology in existing industries" from the most important mission are expected from that headquarters.

I ask Almighty God for continued success in following the wise instructions of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the policies of the people's government. Emad Ahmadvand, a PhD student in technology management from Allameh Tabatabai University, previously managed the export development corridor and technology exchange. He has been active in this headquarters since the beginning of the establishment of the Special Headquarters for the Development of Nanotechnology and has records including managing the promotion group of the Special Headquarters for the Development of Nanotechnology, managing the export bases of the Nanotechnology Headquarters, participating in the compilation of national documents for the development of nanotechnology, and setting up the club of knowledge-based export companies. Membership in the Board of Directors of Export Development and Technology Exchange Fund and membership in the Board of Directors of Knowledge-Based Holding of Future Nanotech Industries are among his other work records.
