Development of cooperation between Iran and Algeria in the field of knowledge economy and innovation
During Dehghani's visit to Algeria, a cooperation agreement in the fields of knowledge economy and innovation was signed between the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Ministry of Knowledge-Based Economy, Startups and Small Companies in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, considering the excellent relations between the two countries and their mutual interest in promoting cooperation in the fields of knowledge economy and innovation, as well as the desire and desire to create more constructive cooperation channels and more advanced in the entrepreneurship sector in a way that reflects the potential of the two countries in this sector, the cooperation agreement was signed in the fields of knowledge economy and innovation between Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy on behalf of Iran and Yasin Al-Mahdi Walid, Minister Knowledge-based economy, start-ups and small companies on behalf of Algeria.
The areas of cooperation of this agreement at the policy, institutional, regulatory and operational levels to develop the knowledge and innovation economy in both countries, encourage and support technology transfer projects and investment programs for new technology-based companies (NTBF) and start-ups of both countries. Creating a mutual financial fund for cooperation in the knowledge economy and innovation, creating joint companies to carry out research and development projects, commercialization and industrial production of knowledge-based products, strengthening direct communication between relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies, industrial or commercial organizations, as well as growth centers, accelerators, innovation and technology houses, etc.
Therefore, to facilitate the implementation of this agreement, the joint scientific and technological cooperation committee will be formed within two months after the signing of this agreement with an equal number of representatives of the parties.
