The Innovation and Prosperity Fund directly under the President was established in 2011 for the purpose of supporting KBFs both financially and non-financially. Since March 2017, it has funded 1818 projects with total turnover of $311 million. Moreover, high and medium-high-tech exports have dramatically increased from $1.5 billion in 2004 to $12.1 billion in 2014, which followed by turning the total trade balance positive in 2016.
