In such fields, according to human needs, there is an opportunity and scope for producing innovative products, providing services, solving challenges and concerns, and the field of health, especially rehabilitation, is one of these fields.

Dehghani continued: While some areas are facing challenges in producing need-oriented products and linking themselves to people's lives, the health and rehabilitation area is one of those areas that depend on people's lives.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, stating that Iran has been considered one of the leading countries in the fields of health, treatment and medicine in the last 5 decades, continued: due to the change in the generation of universities, the growth of capable and educated human resources and market developments, an opportunity has arisen to witness serious developments, especially with interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of health and rehabilitation. In universities, research institutes and technical-engineering universities, there are students who want to make a transformative and convergent product in interaction with other fields. We are ready to support this type of cooperation and create the necessary infrastructure for the formation of these interactions.

The head of the National Elites Foundation, pointing out that there are vast capacities in the field of producing interdisciplinary products based on convergent technologies, added: the best developments can be considered the product of cooperation and interaction of professors and students of technical-engineering and health fields.

Dehghani added: The creation of these innovation and co-creation centers is a special opportunity, which is especially important in the field of rehabilitation.

This innovation center is a space for innovative ideas and the sharing of creative people, idea owners and technologists, which has become a haven for the cultivation and growth of innovative ideas, but to transform innovative ideas into products and flourish to the workshop and laboratory stage, a comprehensive center is needed. Dehghani, National Technology Creation Centers or National Lab in the field of knowledge-based products, including health and rehabilitation, added: With the opening and development of the next phase of this innovation center, the necessary capacities for the development of needs-oriented products and reaching semi-industrial dimensions will be provided.

Referring to the program of the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy to create 6 national lab centers in the field of advanced and strategic technologies, including brain technology, he said: the vice presidency of science is ready to create a national lab in the field of strategic technologies national creation of technology or National Lab in the field of the brain will be used until the end of this government.
