Stem Cells Technology Will Pave the Way for Activists in the Cardiovascular Field
“Stem cells, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in cardiovascular system” is the title of a symposium held to provide the foundation for learning about and developing the updated activities of this field.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fourth symposium of stem cells, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in cardiovascular system will be held by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.
Familiarization with the latest topics and technologies of the field is a goal followed by the event. Other topics of the event include clinical trials of stem cell and regenerative medicine in cardiovascular field, commercialization of cardiovascular regenerative cellular and medical products, prospects and challenges of tissue engineering application in cardiovascular regenerative medicine, biomaterials in cardiovascular cell therapy and tissue engineering, electrophysiology and biological pacemakers and gene therapy, genetic instructions, and genome editing in cardiovascular disease: challenges and clinical prospects.
The symposium gathers activists of the field to expand activities in this area so that the activists of the cardiovascular system could develop the field in the country based on stem cells and regenerative medicine. The fourth round of symposium of stem cells, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in cardiovascular system will be held September 26th, 2019 in Yazd by the support of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter.
Heart attack is one of the common disorders in the field, which, if occurred, the heart function cannot return to its normal state even with the presence of stem cells in the organ. The knowledge of stem cells is one of the areas that helps this issue. However, tissue-engineering field has been developed in the past few years as a substitute to tissue and member transplantation by relying on a combination of three components of cell, growth factors and proper bio-product.
