Sattari: The Export Ability of Knowledge-based Companies in Urmia Should Be Improved

During visiting the science and technology park of West Azerbaijan, Sattari emphasized the importance of using the geographical position of this province, which is close to Turkey, expressing: we must increase the export capacity of knowledge-based companies in this region of the country.

This morning, Sorena Sattari traveled to West Azerbaijan and visited the science and technology park of the province to learn about the latest technological achievements of knowledge-based companies based in the center. Visiting the achievements of 15 technological companies in the park was among the parts of this one-day trip.

During the visit, Sattari stated: I appreciate the efforts made by the governor of West Azerbaijan for this trip and I am happy that I have been welcomed by this province and city several times. Our responsibility is using human and knowledge capacities of the province.

According to Sattari, Urmia is an important and strategic city due to proximity to Turkey. This city has a high export potential, for which attempts should be made to increase the export capability of knowledge-based companies.

The president of the national elites foundation continued: there is an extraordinary workforce in this province that we saw a small sample of their knowledge in this park. Therefore, we have a duty to use this scientific force for the development of the province and the country.

Sattari continued: attempts will be made to increase this capacity with the support of the Vice-Presidency. Of course, good things have happened in this field in West Azerbaijan province and we are witnessing the development of technology in this province; But these measures must be developed.

The president of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy pointed out the proper phenomena occurring in the country in the field of knowledge-based economy in the past few years, asserting: at present, the number of knowledge-based companies has reached more than 5,300. Their income is also significant. For example, 41 knowledge-based companies have valued the stock market at more than 280,000 billion Tomans.
