Mobin Innovation Center of Arak University was opened; Sattari: Creativity is the basis of change in the education culture of the country

Sattari said at the opening ceremony of the Mobin Innovation Center of Arak University: "It is necessary to change the culture of education in the country." A change that occurs in the shadow of innovation and creativity.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, said at the opening ceremony of the Mobin Innovation Center in Arak University, noting that a change in the country's educational culture is a necessity: The university is the source of everything; Technology, culture, economy, changes in society and so on. Universities need to interact with society.

Sattari added: "One of the sectors in which the government invests a lot is the education sector." That is, a large part of the country's budget is allocated to the three sectors of education, health and welfare; But why do we not see the result of these investments in society?

The Vice President of Science and Technology continued: "A significant and good amount of universities' income should be provided from technology sales. This university can claim to communicate and interact with society." The country's universities must earn money by interacting with industry liaison offices, selling knowledge-based companies, and so on.

In another part of his speech, the head of the National Elite Foundation emphasized that we should pay attention to the position of the university and the duty of this educational institution: "We study to solve the problems of the people." One of the links in this educational chain is universities.

Sattari continued: "Successful countries spend in the field of education and after 10 to 15 years, they see the result of these costs in their economy, but in Iran, despite the fact that the government spends a lot on education, we have not seen good and significant results."

The head of the National Elites Foundation believes that it is a successful and influential university that earns its income from selling technology and connecting with industry. But a university that waits for government money will not be innovative.
