Dehghani: The capacity for the University of Science and Culture should be used to connect Academic Jihad to the ecosystem of science and technology

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy said: The University of Science and Culture can become a great portal to connect the capacity of Academic Jihad to the ecosystem of science and technology.

Today, Ruhollah Dehghani visited the University of Science and Culture and the National Park of Soft Sciences and Technologies and Cultural Industries. Before this visit, the president of the University of Science and Culture and the president of the National Park of Soft Sciences and Technologies and Cultural Industries of Academic Jihad presented their plans in the presence of the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy.

In this ceremony, Dehghani said that in the last two to three days, he visited three Academic Jihad complexes and said: I sincerely believe that Academic Jihad, as a non-governmental public institution with governmental and private characteristics, is a well-thought-out solution that will contribute to the country's economy.

He added: "Academic jihad is a capacity in the Islamic Republic of Iran that has received special attention from the Supreme Leader."

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy further noted: The leader of the revolution has not shown any interest in any institution except Academic Jihad. In various speeches, he made hopeful and energizing statements about Academic Jihad. These cases show that Jihad people were energetic, low expectations and productive, which is a special advantage.

The head of the National Elites Foundation said about the University of Science and Culture belonging to Academic Jihad: This university is a non-profit university that is not inferior to state universities in some areas, but is also more capable and is considered the leader of non-profit universities. In this university, there are young professors who are outstanding and are even one percent scientists.

He pointed out: Planning should be done for this university, which is ahead of non-profit universities, to reach the stage of growth and development.

Emphasizing that the president of the University of Science and Culture has a complete knowledge of the capacities of Academic Jihad collections, and this is a special advantage, he said: The University of Science and Culture can be a great gateway to connect the capacities of academic Jihad to the ecosystem of science and technology. the country, knowledge-based companies and technology activists.

Emphasizing that this connection may seem a bit difficult, Dehghani said: There must be an economic-mission model to create this connection. The university becomes a gateway where anyone can enter this field, but planning is necessary.

He said: Academic Jihad can be a platform for student activity in universities, which does not exist in other universities.

Emphasizing that Academic Jihad has entered various fields and carried out numerous projects, he continued: Academic Jihad must be aligned with other strategic institutions of science and technology, such as the vice presidency of science, because it has very valuable capacities.

He pointed out: In this regard, it seems that a mission-economic package should be defined for Academic Jihad so that there is an attraction for the University of Science and Culture, therefore, faculty members can work to create flow in the university.

Referring to the General Directorate of Creative Economy and the Soft Technology Development Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science, Dehghani said: The only area that we kept in the Vice Presidency of Science, in addition to the headquarters, is the field of soft and cultural technologies. The aim of this headquarters is to use the country's historical, climatic, people and university capacities and generate wealth.

Stating that Japan is a country with a history but no climate, he said: 10% of the country's GDP is allocated to the creative economy, but we in Iran have allocated less than 3% for this purpose, and this is worthy of consideration.

Referring to the National Park of Science and Soft Technologies and Cultural Industries, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy added: I don't think any company will operate in this park and only programs and exhibitions will be held.

Emphasizing that when we talk about a park, it means the ecosystem of life, he said: This park should be developed by following the example of the Pardis Technology Park, which was formed in cooperation with the Vice Presidency of Science, the Municipality, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and the focus of the program is by Jihad.

He added: We must have a good infrastructure such as Pardis Technology Park for the development of Jihad Park, so that anyone in Tehran who wants to visit cultural industries can come here, and if they want to visit technology, they can go to Pardis.

Emphasizing that such parks need software, he noted: In the creative economy, we need synergistic software that should be designed for people.

He continued: "It is true that there are 300 animation makers working in the country who have foreign projects, but we should not be like car parts makers, only producing products used by others and ultimately be in contact with other companies to produce products." Now, in the field of animation production, we are a component maker for content producers in the region.

He said: It is necessary to design a software that allows us to become the owner of the product in creative fields and soft technologies.

In the end, Dehghani addressed the president of the University of Science and Culture and the Science and Technology Park of this university and noted: We hope to have a conclusion by the end of May about the startup ecosystem, knowledge-based companies and emerging technologies of Academic Jihad and its alignment with a collection to be

Also, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy visited the science and technology park and the knowledge-based companies located there and talked to the technologists.
