Future-makers of stem cells will be trained at research centers
The challenges of student stem cells and regenerative medicine research centers of Alborz, Kerman, and Fars provinces were held in the presence of managers of education and research centers of provinces to develop the knowledge of stem cells in students and eliminate their problems.
The meeting was held in the presence of Alireza Kamarehie, the high-school education deputy of ministry of education, and Amir Ali Hamidieh, the secretary of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.
The Knowledge of Stem Cells Is Extended among Students
Alireza Kamarehie pointed out that establishing student research centers is associated with quicker movement in this field, expressing: the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter has activated the student section with this purpose in order to have enriched scientific reserves for the community. In student research centers, students are familiarized with the science of stem cells and regenerative medicine and will learn to perform applied research in this area.
During the meeting, Hamidieh considered the international growth of stem cells in the country to be favorable in the past 15 years.
In addition, Mohammad Javad Mohseni, the manager of student section of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, considered the third national festival and international congress of stem cells to be in line with the development of this science in the country.
In addition, the high-school education deputies and managers of research centers of three provinces explained the challenges of the field and measures taken in this regard. Three research centers have been established in Alborz, Fars, and Kerman provinces to promote stem cells field among students of the provinces.
