Dehghani announced: 400 billion tomans support by the Vice Presidency of Science to supply bottleneck technologies of steel and copper industries to the hands of academics

In the ceremony of signing the cooperation agreements between the National Copper Company of Iran and Mobarakeh Steel with knowledge-based companies, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy said: In total, 26 projects have been planned for the cooperation of knowledge-based companies and industries affiliated to the Ministry of Security, worth eight thousand and 600 billion Rials and 21 knowledge-based projects in the amount of 400 billion tomans will be supported from the credits foreseen in the law of leapfrogging production.

According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani in the ceremony of signing cooperation agreements between the Vice Presidency of Science and the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade and National Copper and Mobarakeh Steel Company with knowledge-based companies in the direction of developing and providing technological products said: The development of the market of knowledge-based companies is one of the main and strategic programs in the country's industries, and today, it took place in the form of cooperation agreements with the two largest industries of the country, namely copper and steel, a brilliant manifestation of this cooperation.

Referring to the valuable cooperation with the copper industry, he considered the development of the market as one of the most important pillars of maintaining companies and said: I believe that it is the duty of the government to provide the market for companies so that they can think about development and the future with peace of mind, and I hope that these cooperation documents lead to the prosperity of various industries.

Dehghani added: To meet the strategic needs and make the industries smarter, the cooperation program between knowledge-based companies and the copper and steel industries, after a year of effort and follow-up in the form of expert and specialized meetings, has led to the identification of 26 strategic needs in the aforementioned industries. Among these, 21 products and services will be supported by the Vice Presidency of Science in the form of contracts and under the knowledge-based production leap law, and five cooperation contracts will be concluded for the smartening of five copper mines. These 21 contracts for the development of modern and advanced technologies, which cost about 860 billion tomans, will be supported by the Vice Presidency of Science at least 400 billion tomans in the form of tax credit.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, pointing out that the signing of these cooperation agreements will link the country's large steel and copper industries with knowledge bases, said: one of the central approaches of the Vice Presidency of Science is the development of strategic technologies with a view to emerging technologies. The sprinkler of the world is for the future and planting with slogans is for the future.

Dehghani stated: Another approach followed by the knowledge-based economy development headquarters is the efficiency of the technological achievements that we have achieved in the last three or four decades and we want to use them in important economic areas from agriculture, health and food security to other areas.

While appreciating the members of the parliament and those involved in the establishment of the progressive and strategic law for the leap of knowledge-based production, he added: this law has become the basis for supporting important and strategic projects in various fields of industry and economy, and 21 contracts that are currently supported by the Vice Presidency of Science by tax credits included in the knowledge-based production jump law.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, stating that the serious determination of the Ministry of Security towards these collaborations is a successful model for other institutions, expressed hope that we will see the unveiling and exploitation of these products next year.
