Amol Innovation Center opened; Sattari: Innovation zones expanded support for entrepreneurs and technologists

The Amol Innovation Center was inaugurated in the presence of the Vice President of Science and Technology to provide the ground for the presence of entrepreneurs and environmental activists of Mazandaran Innovation in the industry.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, at the opening ceremony of the Amol Innovation Center, stated that Mazandaran province has high innovative capacities that will be added value and employment in connection with the creator industry. He continued: We are far from the province's innovation ecosystem. Of course, the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the province is fortunately dynamic, and creative youth can contribute to the prosperity of this ecosystem.

Referring to the development of innovation centers and other areas needed for private sector investors and young entrepreneurs, Sattari said: "Fortunately, the number of these centers is increasing and in addition, a significant number of innovation centers are supported by the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology." The private sector has also taken a step in this direction and the number of private sectors innovation centers is increasing.

According to the Vice President of Science and Technology, a science and technology park concentrated in a province as large as Mazandaran may limit access, but the expansion of innovative zones in the province could help boost services for business development.

Referring to the support of the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology for the development of innovative infrastructure, he said: "Fortunately, the Islamic Consultative Assembly has also provided good support for the innovation ecosystem, and the Haryal Bank, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, research and technology funds and other financial activists provided good financial support." It is important to create an innovation ecosystem in the country.

With the opening of Amol Innovation Center, the ground for providing technological services and products to the industries of Mazandaran province, in an area of ​​1500 square meters, has hosted 36 technology and innovative units. After completing the admission and hosting of teams, now 3 knowledge-based companies and 17 technology companies active in the field of student technologies, electronics, power, green chemical industries and software and services in the field of digital technologies have been established in this innovation center.

The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology has invested 10 billion rials to equip this innovation center to meet the technological needs of industries located in the province. Currently, there are more than 100 human resources in this innovation center, who are trained in specialized fields and technology, and 37% of them are women.

 The development of student technologies will also accelerate with the opening of the Psycho Accelerator at the heart of this innovation center. With an area of 200 square meters in Amol Innovation Center, this accelerator now hosts 4 technology teams that are in the process of establishing an idea.
