The researchers and technologists of the country will be supported to implement corona-related research projects in various scientific fields so that especial facilities could be provided to accelerate the pace of technological activities.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Iran Technical & Vocational Training Organization and various components of the innovation ecosystem, including accelerators, growth centers, and science and technology parks, and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to deepen collaborations and synergy among technical & vocational center across the country.

Cognitive sciences and technologies is a new and growing field in the world. International interactions and cooperation significantly impact the development of this type of technology. Therefore, four joint projects are being implemented between Iran and China with the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.

The Vice-Presidency has provided various facilities for knowledge-based and creative companies damaged by corona. According to the calls made in this area, companies can receive up to 500 million Tomans.

In parallel with the law to support knowledge-based companies, the program of creative companies has attempted to persuade technologists in the field of soft industries and humanities to follow their ideas in a structured and innovative form. The first festival of appreciation and selection of creative companies will be held accordingly.

A meeting was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Kazem Khavazi, the minister of agricultural jihad, attended by a number of deputies and authorities. Customs exemptions are among the services provided to knowledge-based companies. The head of the knowledge-based companies center announced that at least 450 knowledge-based companies benefit from these services.

Since 2015, the program of cooperation with non-resident Iranian experts and entrepreneurs has been designed and implemented in the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs (international.bmn.ir).

During visiting the science and technology centers of South Khorasan, Sattari met with some of the students and professors of Birjand University of Technology and considered a practical university as the solution for local problems of provinces.
