Mohammad Reza Ay, the head of the symposium, stated: according to the planning made in the field, the symposium was supposed to be held in April, but the corona disease caused a delay in the event. Since the problem of corona has yet to be resolved, it was decided to hold the event virtually so that all activists of the field could benefit from this opportunity.

Ay continued: 700 people have registered for the event, which is a good achievement and shows that the corona threat has been turned into an opportunity. Accordingly, 10 top domestic and foreign lecturers will present lectures on the recent topics of brain-mapping. In addition, specialized panels will be held during the event.

The fourth symposium of the latest achievements in the brain-mapping field will be held July 1^st-2^nd, 2020 by the brain-mapping lab, which has been established to respond to a part of the research and technology needs of the country in the field of creating the imaging and brain stimulation infrastructure for cognitive research and providing knowledge-based services in the field of cognitive sciences and technologies and brain-mapping.
