While visiting the National Medical Emergency Organisation, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi appreciated the efforts of emergency personnel and medical staff, and said, "Emergency's presence in accidents should be done in the shortest time and effectively to prevent further injuries and casualties, so that people feel Emergency's support".
Referring to the importance of timely and responsible presence in crises, the President said, "Facilities and equipment are decisive in accidents, but if there is no motivation, nothing special will happen despite the facilities and equipment, and therefore, the motivation to serve in people who are involved in people's health and lives, including the Emergency forces, must be high".
Dr Raisi described the Emergency Organisation as the front line of the country's health and treatment system, and emphasised on the prediction and prevention of accidents, saying, "Accidents always upset people, but this feeling increases during the Nowruz holidays".
Referring to the effective role of emergency services in public health, the President stated, "Emergency warnings are effective in various issues, so these warnings should be widely disseminated by the national media when needed".
