Azad University"s knowledge-based capacity will flourish in the country with the aim of developing a technology and innovation ecosystem by opening the innovation and acceleration hall of Islamic Azad University, West Tehran Branch. According to the president of the strategic technologies development center: this hall is opened in an area of 1800 m.

Esmaeil Ghaderifar, the head of the strategic technologies development center, expressed: the center will be opened in summer with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency and the Islamic Azad University. The purpose of its establishment is to develop the ecology of technology and innovation and to guide the students of Azad University to take advantage of this specialized capacity.

According to Ghaderifard, the 1,800-square-foot building is set to create a shared workspace, work offices, think tank, laboratory and specialized workshop, play and rest area, meeting room, classroom and specialized counseling room.

Health Improvement

The innovation hall mainly focuses on health level of the society. Accordingly, specialized educational accelerators, as well as health, engineering and basic sciences accelerators are created in this space.

According to Ghaderifar, the maximum capacity of shared work space in this house is considered with 120 seats. Also, about 15 companies will be located in this house for administrative work, and the existing space will allow users to use 8 specialized workshops and laboratories.

The innovation hall will assist the Islamic Azad University in developing the innovation and technology ecosystem. It creates a large capacity for students to turn their knowledge-based ideas into products.
