280 hectares of new land added to Pardis Technology Park / Sattari: The future of Pardis is bright
In the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, and Mohammad Eslami, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, several cooperation documents and agreements were signed.
At the meeting, which was attended by officials from the two institutions, an agreement was signed to add new grounds to the campus technology park. According to this cooperation document, 280 hectares of new lands will be added to the campus technology park, and the ground for further development of this large park will be provided.
Participation in the creation and development of the Parand Innovation Zone is another title of the agreement that was agreed upon at this meeting. According to this memorandum, a key innovation area will be created in Parand city and with the development of a technological industrial zone in this area, the ground will be prepared for the further growth of Parand city.
The third memorandum focused on the construction of Froudsi town near the campus technology park. The town will be built in collaboration with knowledge-based and creative companies. The creation of technological infrastructure, new architectural methods and the use of clean and smart energy are among the features of this new town.
Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, said at the meeting: "Pardis Technology Park, as the largest technology park in the country, has been able to attract more than 1000 billion tomans of a private sector capital." In this innovative area, although no polluting chimneys are seen, technology centers are generating added value. This issue shows the strategic cooperation of technology and the environment in the country.
The head of the National Elites Foundation added: "In China, a simple fishing port has become a huge international technology park after 40 years." In our country, there is the capacity and potential to create large science and technology parks. Undoubtedly, the future of Pardis is bright and it is not going to become the dormitory of Tehran, however, it will be a dynamic and growing city.
Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami, during the signing of these cooperation documents, said: the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and Dr. Sattari have played a key and irreplaceable role in the development of the innovation ecosystem in the country. In this ministry, we have supported this ecosystem with heartfelt trust and faith. The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development tried to cooperate with these companies as consumers of creative services and products and increase the level of technological influence of knowledge-based and creative companies in the field of urban planning and architecture.
Ismail Ghaderifar, head of the Center for Strategic Technologies Development of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, said at the meeting: "In the 1980s, I had the honor of working with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, and now that I am in the service of Dr. Sattari, I see managerial similarities between the two."
