Industrial production of prepreg wind turbine blades is the title of a research conducted with the support of energy technologies development headquarter to meet some needs, including blade and helicopter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, prepreg based on epoxy resin is one of the most important products that is extensively used in the production of wind turbine blades. In the past, our country was one of the importers of this product. However, researchers of Malek Ashtar University have defined this material for production with the support of energy technologies development headquarter, so that development of the technology and industrial production of wind turbine blade prepregs could be achieved in the country.

In fact, performing this project can be regarded as one of the important elements in production of wind turbines, so that after completing all stages of producing a laboratory sample, the first industrial sample and several tests could be created. Currently, its factory is active in Malek Ashtar University. This project has a significant effect on issues and elements of aerospace industry and can improve many defects and meet the import needs of products, such as blade and helicopter.
