According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first waste and environment startup with the slogan of “Don’t Throw Away the Future” will be held from January 24^th (Wednesday, 16:00) to January 26^th (Friday, 20:00) 2018 in Karaj.

The first startup event on waste will be the basis for holding this national program in Alborz province on a yearly basis.

In this event, 96 individuals will participate in the form of 12 eight-member groups, containing employees and enthusiasts of the field, and students and graduates of areas of environment, graphics, computer engineering (software and information technology), management and marketing, advertisement and sale, and business.

The first waste and environment startup will cover the evaluation of the latest technologies and commercialization methods in this area among the youth of the country.

More than 290 thousand individuals from 470 cities have participated in this global program up to this day. While various ideas are presented in a startup weekend, the most important part of this program is execution.

The first waste and environment startup event with the slogan of “Don’t Throw Away the Future” will be held January 24^th-26^th, 2018 in Karaj by the support of Pardis technology park.
