The Third Call for Support of Doctoral Dissertations Is Published
In order to support doctoral dissertations and meet the fundamental research and technology needs of the country, the national science foundation published the third call for support of doctoral dissertations.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third call for support of doctoral dissertations is published by the national science foundation. This call is published based on the framework of strategies policies of research and technology to guide doctoral dissertations toward the essential research and technology needs of the country, expansion of knowledge boarders and maximum use of capacities of this field.
In total, up to 300 million IRR will be provided for each dissertation, half of which would be increased if the research project results in technological development or reaches the commercialization stage and could be sold.
To use this support, PhD candidates can register during January 21st-March 20th, 2018. After complete reading of the regulations, candidates can send their project to the foundation and refer to the new demand section after entering the delivery section of the system.
It should be noted that the works must be registered to the name of the supervisor and lack of this name would result in no evaluation of the work. In addition, students are obligated to create a profile on the system through the profile of the supervisor.
