The eighth international air and space exhibition of Iran was held in the presence of more than 150 domestic companies and representatives from foreign countries at the location of the permanent exhibitions of Tehran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the eighth international air and space exhibition of Iran was held in the presence of more than 150 domestic and foreign companies during three years. This exhibition was held in Tehran in the presence of representatives from Russia, China, Turkey, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Tunisia, India and Malaysia in November.

Some of the main goals of the exhibition were monitoring of knowledge-based companies, updating the current databank, and finding companies with the ability to be knowledge-based.

On the other hand, some of the programs of this event included holding specialized meeting between the workgroups of union of aerospace industries, assembling a Savannah aircraft on the exhibition grounds, holding educational reverse engineering workshops in aerospace industries, specially engineers and managers, audit of aircraft repair companies according to Article 145 of national aviation regulations, especial for repair centers, and future studies on aerospace industry, special for managers of companies and industries.

Some of the achievements of the eighth international air and space exhibition of Iran were signing several cooperation agreements between companies that were present in the exhibition, providing free counseling to implement the necessities and obtain various licenses by some of the knowledge-based companies, and placing of the exhibition on the list of events supported by the national science foundation.
