According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah Moghadam, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, stated about the implementation of the law of clean air in the environment protection organization: to solve the problem of air pollution, innovation and the new economic model must enter the executive phase. Creation of active startups in this area will accelerate the pace of this process.

Vatankhah continued: the government and united policy-making system is one of the effective necessities of the solutions designed for each fundamental challenge, including reducing air pollution in cities of Iran.

According to Vatankhah, clean air law will directly and indirectly provide the foundation for development of related technologies. In addition, creating markets for products, such as electrical motorcycles, diesel particulate filter, air pollution measuring and monitoring equipment, and converter catalysts, not only helps solving the problem of air pollution, but also leads to sustainable occupation for knowledge-based sections of the country.
